My Book Recommendations for the Winter Season

Hello lovelies,

I hope you had a great time celebrating the last day of October. I’m completely shocked how fast this year went by. We already have November and that means winter is on its way. The temperatures go down, the days become shorter, the sun is hiding – oh hello winter depression! As someone whos favorite seasons are spring and summer I’m obviously not very happy. I’m not a fan of the cold weather and it’s my least favorite season. However, over the past years I tried to make my peace with winter and make the best out of it. I honestly don’t want to feel bad 24/7 for several months and the more I think about it, the more I realize the positive things. After all there’s still something amazing about this time of the year. Can you guess it? No, I’m not talking about Christmas. Even though it’s one of the main reasons that keeps me going. I have to admit that and I’m already excited. But no, today I’m talking about us bookworms who can finally read without feeling bad for staying at home. A scenario that I’m sure a lot of us can relate to.

I think it is no secret anymore that I’m a huge bookworm. Reading gives me the opportunity to calm down, forget about my worries and follow my imagination. When I had a stressful day or week I just like to cozy up in my bed with some snacks and a book. As a child I loved books so much I even wanted to become an author one day and write my own stories. Which is still a big dream of mine but that’s a whole nother story. Before I run off the track and talk about things that no one is here for, I want to start sharing some book recommendations. I’m someone who loves to read romantic, mystery as well as Fantasy novels and from time to time I go for biographies as well.
