The Queen of Crime: My favorite Agatha Christie novels

If you follow me on Instagram you may know that Agatha Christie is one of my favorite authors. I only started reading her novels last summer but I fell in love with her story telling immediately. Her characters, the emotions, her plots, the structur – and also the fact that it plays in the past – makes it perfect for me. I read several crime stories before but I was never really satisfied. Agatha Christie changed that! No wonder she is the Queen of Crime!

So far I read only 9 of her novels, so I still have a long way to go haha. But because she and her stories were a good company over the last few months (also through series and films), I wanted to share my favorite novels. This will probably change again some day but anyway. Here are my current Top 5!

And Then There Were None

In my opinion her best novel. It’s a masterpiece. When I finished the book I was completely flashed.

Murder On The Orient Express

One of Christie’s most famous novels with Hercule Poirot, who is probably my favorite fictional character, and I can only recommend it! It’s a must-read for every bookworm. Another classic one on my reading list is “Death On the Nile”.

Three Act Tragedy

If you love Hercule Poirot as much as I do, then you should definitely give this one a try!

The Thirteen Problems

A novel with Christie’s other famous character Mrs. Marple. As the title says it’s about 13 different criminal cases. So if you like to read some short stories from to time – this is a book for you!

The Mysterious Affairs At Styles

Another story with the great Hercule Poirot and by the way Christie’s first novel ever. I think there’s none of Christie’s novels that I didn’t like so far!

What are your favorite Agatha Christie novels? I would love to know!
