An Afternoon in the park – Lookbook Nr. 3

Last friday I went to the castle and park of Lichtenwalde with my parents. We had a wonderful afternoon, enjoying the fountains, the flowers, the trees – just everything. All in all it’s a very lovely place and while walking through the park I felt a little bit like I was in Great Britain or France. It just has something very magical about it in my opinion. And because I was so in love with this place and also really liked my outfit of the day, I had to take some photographs, which I’m going to show you now! ❤

For this look I was very inspired by the 1950’s. I really like the silhouette of the tiny waist and the big circle skirt. So I went with my polka dot circle skirt from the lovely brand Vivien of Holloway. This skirt is one of my absolute favorite pieces because it accentuates my waist perfectly. I paired it with a green top from Von50‘ and my white sneakers from H&M.

Had fun using the fountain as a prop for photographs.

A lot of people ask me where I have this bag from. It’s actually a true vintage piece and I got it on a flea market for only 2€. Which was insane because the bag is still in perfect conditions. But I don’t mind at all, I just had very good luck with it.

I wore my hair with a very simple black headband and it still had some little waves from the day before. I wasn’t in the mood for any special vintage hairstyle. But I have to say I like this one as well. It’s not historically accurate for a 50’s look but I’m totally fine with that!

Some closeups of my look. I went with my everyday makeup. Thick eyebrows, eyeliner, mascara and red lipstick, which is by the way the Super Stay 24 Color from Maybelline New York in the color Cherry Pie. And if you’re wondering where these earrings are from click here to find it out.

During the afternoon I put on some sunglasses from Bijou Brigitte. You should know I always have a pair of sunglasses with me. They’re my biggest essential beside red lipstick! 😛

But that’s it for today guys. A big thank you to my mum for taking all of these photographs. You’re the best!

I’ll see you guys soon,

Your Shirinatra xx
