A vintage walk through the woods – Lookbook Nr. 2

Sunny Sundays are for long walks in the nature! So my boyfriend and I went out for a stroll in the woods and since it finally was a bit colder, 24°C instead of over 30°C, I had the chance to wear my new dress! Usually I’m one of those people who wear their new stuff straight away on the next day, but that was impossible because of the extreme heat in Germany. So I was extremly excited to parade this outfit for the first time, which I’m going to show you now in my second Lookbook. Enjoy ❤

As you can see, it’s a 1940’s/1950’s inspired shirt dress in a navy blue color with some brown details. Like most of my clothes it’s a vintage reproduction and from the british brand Collectif Clothing. I added the brown belt (LindyBop) myself, since I wasn’t very pleased with the one that came with the dress, and it actually matches my vintage bag perfectly.

My hairstyle of the day was inspired by an illustration of Alice Negri also known as marlavonduta on Instagram. It’s a cute 30’s updo inspired by a hairstyle of Ginger Rogers and it’s perfect for warm summer days, plus it’s very easy to do. I added some lovely flower clips, which are selfmade, to freshen up my outfit. If you want to recreate this gorgeous hairstyle, you can find the illustration here.

Of course I couldn’t go without my beloved vintage inspired pair of sunglasses from Primark and my black ballerinas from Deichmann. I love them dearly, since I can wear them with every single outfit and I wish I bought more pairs of them 😀

The last accessories I added, was the blue and red striped bandana  from Primark, which reminds me a lot of the one Audrey Hepburn wore in “Roman Holiday”. I really really love wearing bandanas like this. It gives your vintage outfit the finishing touch and it makes it look cute and classy at the same time!
